The Foundation for a Great Marriage, headed by Susan Dutton Freund in De Pere, Wisconsin, recently received a sizable award for the marriage initiatives in the area. Sheboygan, WI, which is near De Pere, is one of the Marriage CoMission’s 2006 Target Cities. The $100,000 awardprovided by the Vine and Branches Foundation will help the Foundation for a Great Marriage in three primary areas: healthy marriage programming in five Wisconsin cities to lay the groundwork for CMI efforts; web design and development; and educational materials development.
Vine and Branches Foundation is a private organization that has recently began to target marriage strengthening programs in its donations.
