Ron L. Braundis experienced as a behavioral health professional, family business facilitator, mission consultant and business owner. He is president of AlphaCare Christian Therapy Services, Inc., Mission Specialties, Inc., and former owner of Transitional Family Services, Inc. He is the author or co-author of four books including Understanding How Others Misunderstand You, a book and workbook describing behavioral principles to improve relationships with others; and The Strong-Willed Child or Dreamer?, a book for parents to discern the crucial differences between a strong-willed child and a creative-sensitive child. For 14 years he hosted a daily radio program, Marriage & Family Today, produced in association with Moody Broadcasting in Atlanta.
As a marriage & family therapist, Dr. Braund has over 25 years experience as a systems oriented counselor integrating sound psychological perspectives with biblical truth. He has provided training and support for individuals, couples, parents and their children.
AlphaCare Christian Therapy Services is a counseling ministry with the purpose of “caring for people first”. In cooperation with church pastors, they have established counseling services, support groups and relationship training for local churches.
As a family business facilitator, Dr. Braund is dedicated to guiding business leaders and their families in personal development, change management, and succession planning. Clients include privately held companies where the owners share a commitment to purpose-driven goals that leverage their resources for service to others.
As a mission consultant, Dr. Braund is the founder of Mission Specialties, Inc.
MSi has as its purpose to “open doors of opportunity for service”. The ministry supports leaders who have a passion to serve neglected and abused children home and abroad.
Dr. Braund serves as chair of the CoMission for Children at Risk (www.comission.org), a network of over 300 mission organizations serving orphans and street children in Eastern Europe. He has been instrumental in developing Orphan Transition Programs that assist Russian orphan “graduates” to pursue independent living and life skills training.
