Update on Community Training at WinShape
The City Marriage Initiative training in April is coming together! This time will be packed full of information and networking. From strategic planning and marketing to fund development and capacity building, the training will cover the basics of a city marriage initiative. The leadership from each city will get a tailor-made experience so that no time is wasted. Cities in the early stage of development will focus more on issues such as how to build their network and how to write their strategic plan while cities who have been working to help marriages for a while will receive help trouble shooting problem areas.
Some of the presenters at this training include: Jason Krafsky, Randy Hicks, Julie Baumgardner, and Richard Albertson. These are seasoned city organizers who have hands-on experience in how to reach a city with a positive message about marriage. We are excited that each city has committed people to attend and some cities are bringing up to five couples.
